Rooted in Culture. United in Service. Guided by Purpose.

Our Vision

We aim to build a vibrant and compassionate community, rooted in cultural pride, collective responsibility, and inclusive co-existence. We envision a neighbourhood where generations stay connected through shared experiences, values, and traditions — a place where faith and fellowship go hand in hand with education and empowerment.

At a glance

The Bengal Welfare and Cultural Association (BWCA) is a not-for-profit organisation established in the heart of Vasundhara Enclave, Delhi. Though formally registered in 1996, our journey began in 1991, driven by a small but passionate group of Bengali residents who wished to create a space where cultural pride, community care, and collective action could thrive side by side.

Over the years, BWCA has evolved into more than just an association — it has become a movement. A movement committed to preserving the cultural and literary heritage of Bengal, while also embracing the broader social and civic responsibilities of being part of a modern, inclusive community.

From organising major festivals like Durgotsava and cultural performances, to distributing food and clothing during crises, and advocating for public amenities in the area, BWCA has consistently responded to both the spiritual and practical needs of the people of Vasundhara Enclave and beyond.

We believe that a community flourishes when it is bound together by shared values, respect for tradition, a spirit of inclusion, and the collective will to serve. Everything we do — whether spiritual, cultural, social, or educational — is guided by these ideals.
